Fivebase Develops Patient Scanning Apps
Partnering with Recovery Centers of America, Fivebase has developed two new IOS based scanning apps which are designed to streamline patient observations / rounds and group attendance tracking. The apps allow clinical staff to easily scan patient wrist bands for rounds, as well as allow patients to self check in for group meetings via a kiosk terminal thus eliminating manual entry and enhancing time tracking. Both solutions integrate with Aila's peripheral scanning hardware which includes a locked kiosk and an iPod scanning case. Given the openness of their chose EHR platform, data flows from the devices back to the EHR via real time API calls.
